Hi,

Just moved to TX about two months ago from SoCal.  More or less settled in with the house and job, now looking to some much needed riding.  I have an FJR1300 and am trying to find some sport touring riders/clubs around the Houston area to ride with and discover the local twists and turns, I live in the Kingwood area of Humble to be more specific.  Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Check out local rides in Houston at http://www.twtex.com along with bike nights.  May not be Sport Tour specific, but a good place to meet people with similar interests.

Not quite local, but when you are ready to stretch your FJR's legs, don't miss the Hill Country near Kerrville.

There is an active COG (Concours Owners Group) that meets about twice a month for a meet and greet ride. But we welcome all Sport-touring riders. Check out the Concours owners group site - specifically the South Central Region which is TX.OK LA AR.  Also, there is a group that check the TWT site for rides around the Kingwood/Woodlands area. Just show up. Safe riding.
