This year I decided to take the Monster to BC since I had a Moto Guzzi with me to shuttle the camping gear.  Five days of many hours and miles of riding in a row, in temperatures from the fifties into the low hundreds.

The Monster did splendidly. I really think it's in its element in the Kootenays; it has much better engine braking on the steep descents than the BMW. Romping around that area was a real hoot.  Thumbsup Got fantastic mileage too. My knees sometimes got a little sore, but nothing that lingered after a good ten minutes off the bike (I'm 5'10").

And looking at those Termis, I'm sure it sounded a lot better too...
