Truck rentals??

So i'm planning on taking a trip this summer, a long one, cali to maine. I basically decided i wanted to do see all of america. The thing is i don't think my butt or arms are going to be able to take the trip there and back on the GSXR 600 i ride... (by the way i'm only 21 so i think my body can handle most of the trip. haha). Now my question is, does anyone know a cheap way to my back back to cali via rental truck or plane or anything?? so far i've seen prices around 2000.

$2000?  you're lookin in the wrong places.  I think any motorcycle shipper should do it for $700 at most, coast to coast.  If you want to drive it back, I know enterprise does 1 way rentals to those over 25 with no cost for mileage....

When my Trophy broke down in Rapid City I rented a U-Haul box truck. The smallest they have.

One way rental back to Milwaukee (`900 miles) was $803. Gas was another $234.

Using Daily Direct would have saved me about $500 but I didn't know how they worked then and the bike was in a Walmart parking lot.

Could you clarify your plan a little?

Are you planning to ride to CA, then drive/fly back?

Well my plan is to drive from san diego to Maine over the summer (which i'll write another blog about that soon on here) and then i don't think i'm going to want to ride back considering i'm riding an 04 GSXR 600. So i was planning on shipping my bike via truck and then flying home.
