I love the KLR.  Its not real powerfull, but powerfull enough for me and 300 lbs lighter than the ST with quick handeling.  I like it for short trips and back roads driving and understand why the super moto bikes are getting so popular because its a blast.  I've done a few dualsport events, and realize its not a great off road bike, but its still alot of fun.  Saved alot of gas over the summer too getting around 60 mpg on regular.  So right now the ST is my long distance/cold weather bike, and for most everything else I ride the KLR.

I rode around the block on Sunday to celebrate. Seriously, I need to get some real miles on and replace that $4.00 a gallon gas with something more economicable.  If not, I may be forced to buy gas stabilizer.  EEK!

Took advantage of the warm weather and went out for two hour ride with my son on the backroads between Hightstown and Freehold.  Kinda windy and the pavement was wet, but we stayed upright and had a good time.  Bigok
