Just back from the Air Force museum in Dayton, OH. Had I made better plans I would not have to make 2 trips west!
More photos to come!

Don't take your Inspection stickers or registration stickers off your plates till the State Law Enforcement get their act together.

Already did.
Why did the letter said to remove the registration sticker since it is the inspection that they are doing away with?
We still need to pay registration so I left the registration sticker on the plate.
JS - Did you get hassled?

I was in DMV today. They told me that the letter was correct and I am to remove all stickers. I registered a tow dolly and the new plate did not come with a registration sticker. They are doing away with all the stickers and relying on simply running the plate through their database to see if you're up to date.
This is something they could always do but our great Governor Christie found yet another way to save money. The guy that makes the stickers was probably getting a little on the side from that fag governor McGreevy.

Best place for tire purchase/mounting nearby NYC? I recently saw someone mention that they got some decent tires (Michelins? Pirellis?) for about $230 mounted. The last time I had tires mounted on the East Coast (during a long-distance trip) the shop charged me a 'predetermined' hourly rate for mounting - I felt robbed when the bill came.
