R&D video of the new KTM 125cc Streetfighter in development. It's to be released next March.
But from their KTM 125 FB page, they don't have the US flag flying in its destined countries list. Big Surprise.

Looks fun, but I think their strategy is probably right. Unless the thing costs next to nothing, US buyers wouldn't buy enough to make it worth their while.

Hate to agree with you, but you are right. The 690 Duke is pushing $11,000 USD already.

Honda is still trying to give away the 2007 CBR125r 's they brought into Canada. Totally modern bike, FI, full fairings, 6 spd. less than $2700 with 3 yr warranty.

I saw that 125 when I was in Canada. I thought it was so beautiful, I snapped pictures. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I lived in an urban area.

Further info suggests that this KTM is actually a Bajaj-made motorcycle from India.
http://news.motorbiker.org/blogs.nsf/dx/is-the-ktm-125-duke-really-a-ktm-motorcycle.htm
KTM's response:
"It was 100 percent designed and development from KTM in Austria and will be produced basically in India from Bajaj. The final assembly and quality management takes again place in our factory in Mattighofen."

KTM 125 Streetfighter?
At 125cc a more accurate name would be the KTM 125 Streetbitchslapper
