Some of the news stories identify some of the gentlemen being detained wearing Vagos colors.

It appears there is a war brewing in Arizona between the Hells Angels and another biker gang. According to this story there are more bikers on the way. Might want to avoid this area if touring:

Maybe it's just a promotion for the new season of Sons of Anarchy.

"...at least 50 rounds were fired."

"Officials said at least five people were injured in the shooting..."

"None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening."

SLACKERS! That's an awful shot:kill ratio.

The title of this thread was changed and the original post went from:

to this:

I wonder is he was "convinced" to make the changes by the "clubs" involved in the dust up.  Odd goings on are afoot, I tell ya.

A brief explanation is in order, I guess:

The original post was meant to be informational for tourers and not to be anything negative. I have some good friends that ride hogs and don't want to be casting the H-D community in a negative light, lots of good guys & ladies ride hogs.

And, I just got back from the Grand Canyon (and several other tourist areas of Arizona). Was blown away, Arizona is a wonderful state with many beautiful areas. Lots of good people I met along the way. I hope to make another trip there real soon.

Then again, during the VietNam war, the US Army averaged 200,000 rounds fired per enemy casualty. The Marine Corps averaged 50,000. At Army rates, they could repeat the engagement 4,000 times and expect only one casualty!
