Hi anyone ( Euro posters ) see new info on Aprilia 750 ' Shiver ' ??? I saw a stat line in one of English mags a month or 2 ago that list price was to be 6600 pounds, which'd be great. Now, is it real ?
Sorta maybe like the ' sometine' Tri 675 S 3 that maybe is becoming real.

this MCN article.

If this is true, this looks good, too!

The next project for the new V90 Shiver platform will be a big supermoto, Ducati Hypermotard style.
I asked my Aprilia factory insider whether Aprilia would use the V60 engine in such a project, but was then told that Aprilia will use the V90 750cc engine from the new SL 750 Shiver as it suits such a bike better according to Aprilia.
We will attend the SL 750 Shiver world launch in mid May and Mana 850 in late July this year.

Motociclismo has it

The Italian motorcycle mag "Motociclismo" has information on this bike.
It looks like the spirit of a 750 Tuono. That's a good thing; sounds like a lot of fun. And we like fun.
Styling is messy, though; a little "Kawasaki 650N meets Brutale after a night with a 675 Daytona"; seems like the style of the moment is lots of odd angles and unfinished design solutions to the tailsection.
No wonder the Ducati Sport Classics are selling so well...

i think its look pretty good. I hear its gonna be competing with the sv650, hona 599 and the likes. Base model on the shiver has non adjustable forks and the like....Im curious to know if there will be an upgraded version.
Looks like they might follow ducati....have a 90 degree twin for road bikes and use the v60 and v4 for more hard core, sport/race inspired machines.

+ + + + + by that article ( Telegraph ) the Price has dropped by 1000 pounds - hope I'm not mixing Euros and pounds . . . by that, it's $8000. or even less in U.S. Exce. , excel. - except for the puny, useless tank , I think I read 15 liters, less than 4 gal.
Looks to me to be what a certain other company SHOULD HAVE put out - an upmarket SV . . .
