I came across US12 middle of last month and while stopped at the rest area on Lolo pass a guy hauling his bike with his PU warned me of a leo about 20 miles down the road. Sure enough, there he was in his SUV with lights flashing and a car pulled over. I was glad to get the tip off..... and then hauled the mail for awhile after passing him.

My Lawyer called this morning and told me my ticket had been fixed. It's a good feeling. Cool

Powell is what they call the little group of houses where the local residents live accross the highway from Lochsa Lodge, mostly Idaho Dept. of Transportaion folks.
I don't remember the mile marker on H12 but if you know where Lochsa Lodge is you get the general idea- not far down from the state border.
I guess my main point was that the officer works right there so you can expect to see a law enforcement presence every time you come through that corridor

Typically I eat lunch at the lodge and then phone in a drunk driver report for the direction I just came from.  Dispatch: "OK Mr Flintstone, which mile marker did you say again?"
