Talking with my brother today. We're going to be bringing a camping grill and will hit up a store there, or along the way, to grab some burgers and dogs and such for Saturday night food in the parking lot. Anyone wanting to join in, just show up with either a few bucks towards the next store run, or bring some cookables of choice.  Thumbsup

I'll throw some cash in Chris, BTW there is a large food store at the opposite end of Sparta, with a good selection, would save LD transport, and they have.....BEER  Bigsmile Lol Twofinger

There is a chance I will have to go to Charlotte to pick up a car, but otherwise I will bring salsa, chex mix, and turkey dogs.

Since there's a small chance I might have to bail (buying a car from a guy that moved overseas, long story) I was just going to stay with my friend in Winston Salem.

I also need a new cam chain tensioner for the bike.  Ordered one today, hopefully it will get here in time.  The one on the bike is just starting to fail (bike is making a little noise at idle) but I don't want to take a long trip before I get the new one.  My life can never be simple.

I might be in with bringing back some Bubba Burgers to grill, but if we end up looking at a longer ride on Saturday then sitting down at a restaurant or ordering pizza might be preferable.  I'll see what's up on Friday or Saturday afternoon and decide then.  Thanks for offering this...

How many watermelons do you think I can bungee to the top of the Givi? Maybe I should bring duct tape just in case.

@nantahala - it's good to have the options. I'm not mandating this for my meals - like you say, if I don't roll back in to sparta 'til 7pm or something, screw the grill.  Bigsmile

@sara - at what point are there ENOUGH mellons? Wait... uhm... what?
