I recently purchased a new Insignia flash memory MP3, video, audiobook, and photo player. According to Best Buy's info, it can store 1,000 songs, 4,000 photos, 50 audiobooks, or 14 movies. Oh, and did I mention it also has FM radio? I'll be using mainly for MP3 playback. It's a Best Buy house brand and the least expensive in the 4GB range @ $130.00. For the price, it's actually a very decent player and is pocket-sized. Controls are easy to use and the menu system is intuitive, at least for me. Best part is that it uses standard mini-USB 2.0 for connection to a PC and for charging; unlike the proprietary connectors on most players. The battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion similar to ones used on cell phones. File transfers of your existing MP3s and other files can be done through Windows Explorer. It also has a mini-SD slot for additional storage. Audio is actually quite good. The 2.2" hi-res LCD screen provides lots of info such as album cover, artist, title, and so much more. For the price and features, I'd give it a  Thumbsup

It's not the destination, but the journey, that counts. A sport-tourer's ride between two points is seldom a straight line. He will often seek the most convoluted route possible.
