What to do if you get rickrolled.

Busa must be like my buddy the tech-tard that called his IT person in a panic when I rickrolled him a couple years ago.

I find it a bit distracting and disrespectful to the chat board (and the owner of this board) when members fuck with others like that.

I'm not too sure how UFO feels about it, but IMO it's going too far even in OT with little punk games like that.  Obviously, I'm not the only one who didn't see it as a cute or funny act by some moron trying to be "cool".  If it was just a matter of simply closing it down with a click of the X, then no problem.  But to have to fuck with it for awhile to stop it wasn't too "cool".  You think UFO wants members who aren't the regular circle jerkers to be bothered with such nonsense?

Well, I wasn't too bent out of shape for several reasons...

1)  Nothing wrong with a good Rick Roll once in awhile.
2)  I don't consider it malware (it was only malicious in that it was annoying), just a youtube video with a simple javascript that pops up a dialogue with the song lyrics.  Honestly there are probably more intrusive scripts being loaded when you visit cnn.com or checking your Gmail account.   Sure, maybe it's annoying but it's harmless...that's the definition of being Rick Rolled.
3)  It's Off Topic.  Had this been posted elsewhere it would have been deleted or moved.  OT is a little more open than the rest of the site.  The original thread was deleted for other reasons.

And yeah, I got Rick Rolled in that thread too.  FUCK!

Well, it's somewhat more than just a pop-up dialogue with the lyrics, as it doesn't allow you to close it very easily without knowing the trick to doing so.
