Just wondering what your thoughts are on the 99 Yamaha V-Star 650. My brother is looking for a bike and we found this bike in his price range. I cant find any reviews on the bike, is it a good bike, dependable, any know issues with the bike?

I have a cousin that had one. It was a reliable bike and gave him no problems, but he sold it because he needed a little more power. It would be great for around town, but the power wasn't enough for all day cruising. I never rode it, but that's his take on it.
