Nothing wrong with that if it's a valid product being targeted to potential customers with need.

So it's OK if everybody under the sun jumps in here with a "valid product" to sell is what you're saying.

Who's to say what a valid product is? To me, this belt is a medical item. I have a bad ankle. Some people get raw, red monkey butt from long days in the saddle.
So if two more posters came in here selling a new kind of ankle brace or a butt cream that would be OK?

Unsolicited advertisement by individuals posting simply for the sake of hawking their sh*t in web forums is and has been pretty much universally
frowned upon and decreed as SPAM.

It would be different if the guy was hanging around for a while, part of the forum, and pointed out a link to his product
in a post. The guy posted only for the sake of selling his product. 2-1 he doesn't give a rat's ass about motorcycle riders specifically.
Probably posted in construction forums, mason's forums, trucker's forums, geriatric forums etc. etc.

The mods (Dred) have spoken anyway and I'm just reiterating. I'm surprised that the thread hasn't been deleted.

Well, if it's in the vendor section (where it belongs and where this one should be) and it's a product that's useful to riders... hell yes.

By whom?

I'm sure your business has never cold-advertised or blind-advertised. Ever.

In the vendor section, with the blessing of site admin, go for it. Thumbsup

And no, my business doesn't cold-contact and hawk our services in web forums. Ever. You know nothing about my business.
