STN Open Ride: SoCal Area S2-S1-Palomar Date Changed to Friday 9/24

Here's the route and the map for what I have in mind. I did a similar ride last Thursday which left out S2 but added in a bunch of different stuff. 383 miles of some fun/challenging stuff.  Anyone that's interested chime in here with your preference for which day. BTW nothing is set in stone as far as the route. If someone has some idea's on how to improve it let me know. Meeting place would be the Denny's off of the 60 fwy and Valley Way in Riverside at 8:00 AM.

15-79-S2-8-94-S1-79-Mesa Grande-76-S7-S6-76-S16-15. For anyone that's further south than Riverside we can meet on the way down say right by the 15-79.

I rode that road on my first STN ride and your absolutely right it's a fantastic road. It could be ridden both ways or by adding on S3-78-S2 and your back on the original ride. Just depends on how long of a day everyone wants to put in. The loop that I have planned is right at 283 miles adding in sweeper madness would only add on another 40 or so. I'd be game if you'd like to do it.

What time on Friday?  Anyone from OC going?  Maybe we can meet on the west side of Ortega, take that over to the 15, and meet the group at the 79/15?

I think I can do it, I may be taking a solo trip up to Monterey soon just to ride PCH, but probably the following weekend.

Your missing some great stuff if you've never ridden S22 Montezuma Valley Rd (Sweeper Madness). Same thing if you've never been on S2 Overland Stage or S1 Sunrise Highway.

My friend Samir will be coming from Huntington Beach and might be interested in taking Ortega over to the 15. If we want to meet down at the 79/15 we could just meet at the Chevron gas station that's right off of that exit at say 9?
