He was a member of the "Sundowners" club, wisconsin chapter. WIS plates. Said he'd ridden it all the way. His chain was on the way out; I directed him to some independent shops in SLC that may remember when HD used to use things called "chains." Bigsmile

Front wheel was off an old FX or something; he had to machine spacers for the wheel and for the brake.

Nice dude, policed his cigarette butt and wiped the excess chain lube off the pavement when he was done. Ride safe, bro!   Cool

Looks like a spare shifter rod ziptied to the RH forward frame tube.

Harleys can't go that distance and don't last more than 2 years with constant cleaning and polishing. Someone's pulling your leg.
