Beautiful area.  I don't think I would make it that far north on the EXC and some of those areas would be too hairy for me on a fully loaded 990.  

Can I ride the 990 up that way and borrow your KLX?    Bigsmile

I'm bettin' the 990 would make it across the beaches and along the coast as far as Point Rosie, if you lightened her up by leaving as much gear behind as you could in Garnish, just for the day. She may even make it across the overland stretch, by the time you come up here in the future. They should have the new section of trail in a much more big bike-friendly state, by some time next year.
