I just ask because a friends buddy works a Maricopa test facility, he said they had a meeting and that MC testing was coming to a end in a month.

After seeing this thread yesterday, I did a search for the topic.
It seems that in 2008 the Az legislature approved exempting motorcycles from the emission test. The ADEQ applied to the EPA for approval of the exemption. To go into effect, the EPA would have had to approve the exemption by July of 2010. I didn't find anything about a final disposition of ADEQ's request by the EPA. I don't know if this means it's still in limbo or if it is now dead.
