I picked up my copy of Motorcycle Sport and Leisure yesterday, great magazine even though it's not so easily found as many other titles. There is an article this month about this monster Guzzi which has been developed in Italy by MPC, the company which developed the Daytona BoTT-winning bike ridden by Gianfranco Guareschi in 2007. In road spec based on a Griso it is good for 135hp and well over 100 ft/lbs of torque, and apparently is street legal even in Switzerland! The motor is 1420cc and watercooled, but still uses two valve heads. The race engine, although smaller at 1350cc, produced 167hp and had more than 103ft/lbs available from just 4000rpm.

Here's a fuzzy pic from the magazine.
I think the over-used word 'Awesome' is appropriate here....  Drool

A water-cooled Guzzi? The gods will be angered.

I'd love to take that for a spin.

BB1 is an excellent motorcycle 70 year-old boy ;-)
I have driven more than 6500 miles on it and I've enjoyed every trip!

Thanks for the link Arska, some of the winter photos reminded me of Canada!

I didn't know that the BB1 had been available for so long, yours looks really nice! Thumbsup

If it's water cooled, why does it have fins on it?  (Not the rider, the little metal things on the engine!)  Lol

Actually, I'm glad it has the fins, because it retains most of the classic Guzzi look to it. In fact, the jugs are round again!  Thumbsup

Although I've never been a big fan of the Griso, this engine in a LeMans frame would be outstanding!

Since MILLEPERCENTO BB1 is made to order, so ask MOTO GUZZI, the importer, if you want white.
BB1 was presented in Helsinki Motorcycle Fair in February 2009.
I removed all the chrome parts - black, white and copper red are my colors .. over a motorcycle on the road rather than polish chrome parts in the garage!

I designed a protective braces on both sides and I installed Boss silencers. The sounds are soft, but masculine. BB1 shows the wild horses, and believe it is wild!

Since the BB1 is a racing bike, so need to check the valve clearance to 5.000 km intervals - this is enough because I do not drive a race (although I have fun winding roads)

I raced the race track by practicing only once, and next summer is supposed to go again ..

Since the BB1-motorcycle no ABS brakes (all the space under the seat takes a NASCAR-style fuel supply) I've been practicing emergency stops, and quick evasive action. To avoid accidents, must respond to reflexes. So far I have not crashed even though it has been close.

MILLEPERCENTON ALBA new products has already been driven out, with which you can see a video of my site.
What happens in the future with the continuation of BB1-shows in Milan exhibition Eicma 2 November 2010 ..
