This has nothing to do with bikes, but I'm trying to reach folks in Germany, so moderators, don't taze me [thread], bro!   Smile

In the States, all telephones have to work with almost all hearing aids.  My mother-in-law's current telephone is in serious need of replacement.  The big question is: do all telephones in Germany also work with almost all hearing aids.  My guess is the answer is yes, but nobody in the family knows and the folks I've reached by e-mail don't know, either.  Does anyone know for sure one way or the other?

Not really germane to the issue of hearing aids and phones, but interesting nonetheless,

Quote
A simple technology called a magnetic hearing loop allows wearers of specially outfitted hearing aids to get a wireless signal transmitted directly to their ear. The technology transforms garbled PA sounds into clear announcements. Hearing-impaired user David Myers explains.

But not unrelated, either.  Thanks for posting it.  Smile
