I have an 02 Suzi 1200S that I love, with the exception of the handlebars.  I believe they are the stock bars and are uncomfortable as I feel too much pressure on my hands, even when I rotate them around in the mounts.  I also have what appears to be one inch risers that also place the bars back maybe 0.5 to 1.0 inch.

I am looking to get bars that allow me to sit more neutral so that the pressure is off my hands and wrists.  Probably looking for more rise and maybe more pull back.  I am 6'2" with fairly long arms.

What are you guys running and how to you like the fit?  Suggestions and sources for the bars would be appreciated, and off course pics are always very welcome.  I am also looking to get rid of the current grips and getting new grips with bar end weights that will allow me to continue to use the mounted hand guards.  The attached pic should help you to see what I currently have.

There are a ton. Someone makes spacers that will raise the mounting block for the stock bars, but I can't recall the name. Gen-Mar maybe?

Holly shit..GenMar must have made those out of solid silver - $76.00 wow.  Tusk makes the same thing, with plates that offer the option to rise from 1/4" to 2", and for only $20.00.  Think I'm just gonna go with the cheap option to see if it resolves the issues that I have.

Thanks for the info.

There are a variety of handlebar shapes. Here is LSL's variety, as an example.

Ryes are relatively hard to find.  There was a place down by Seattle Center that had a whole wall full of various whiskies, and the Barking Dog on 70th has a bunch of ryes.

Oh, right, never mind.   Bigsmile

Ordered 2" risers from Rocky Mountain ATV and that did the trick.  Much more comfortable now.  And for only $19.99.

And I guess I was wrong the amount of rise...it is only 1.2 inches, but sure feels like more.
