Time for new fork seals. I have used the service manual amount specified for oil volumn before but this time will set an air gap or oil height.
Anybody using a specific air gap dimension?

Found it in the, some would call it, Service Manual.
It's 170MM for the air gap.
Now the Owners Manual sez 360CC for fork oil change.
Soooooo I put in 360cc in dry forks and stroked the dampers, and sure enough the air gap was 60mm low. I just put in 360cc the last two times I replaced the seals. Added some more oil, used my level tool to remove the extra oil to the 170mm level.
Action of the forks is improved. The front end feels " planted" where before it seemed mushy and a little loose. Front end dive is way reduced. Now the ride is firmer, but that is not aworry on a bike like this.
