I am planning my trip next year from the twin cities MN to the black hills, yellowstone, down to NE utah to see my sister, up to glacier and back across ND home.  I really like the "lesser known" attractions.  Glacier, blackhills and Yellowstone are cool but I'm more interested in the less common sites.  Something like odd museums, missile silos in ND or other stuff along those lines.  Does anyone know of any cool places in these states?  Thanks in advance.

There are some cool ghost towns in Montana http://www.ghosttowns.com/states/mt/mt.html

I think Bannack would be the most interesting one, with Garnet right behind it  Thumbsup
