From Hell for Leather Magazine:

Quote

Watching Harald Kitsch ride this bike alongside Aprilia RSV4s and BMW S1000RRs in the final race of the German Sound of Thunder/BEARS series was like watching a MotoGP bike at a public trackday. He ended up finishing the race 19 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor, but he wasn’t even trying, the championship had already been wrapped up two races ago. Here’s a close up look at the Pegasus Race Team championship-winning 185rwhp EBR 1190RR-B.[/size]

Pics and details at the link.

Also, from yesterday's article:

Quote
This weekend, Erik Buell and I both found ourselves in Germany, at Oschersleben’s Biketoberfest. Watching Harald Kitsch and Pegasus Race Team use their EBR 1190RR to dominate the final race of a championship they’d already won two races ago, it suddenly seemed like a good opportunity to talk to Erik about where he’s going post-Harley. He pulled himself away from the swarms (seriously) of German autograph seekers long enough to do just that.

Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.

The best part of the interview was Erik saying the 1190RS is just going to be the RR with a street-legal exhaust and different ECU.

That 19 second lead might sound impressive, but Harald was so far ahead by about the fourth lap that he was just wheelying down all the straights instead of riding flat out.
