Not all of the customized busas have fat tires.

You can cruise on a Busa , but you can't Busa on a cruiser.

Have to say that I see no corallation between an Escalade and a Hayabusa.   Headscratch

is it because you think we are referring to the vehicles physical characteristics...or perhaps because we are referring to the nature of those who purchase them?  apparently there is no ghetto/hood where you live.

I haven't seen a Busa with satellite TV dish on it yet, but I'm sure it's because I'm just not looking.

Blackbirds are good candidates for sport touring upgrades.

If you get away from large urban areas, you get away from the bling.

It's more of a big city thing than a Busa thing.   Same thing with HD.    In the mountains around Colorado, the bikes get used, so you don't screw with the functionality.  (too much)

FWIW: The Busa is the best sport touring/distance bike I've owned.
(Yes, it's better than my old Honda Blackbird)

"5 minute smokeshow or a half mile wheelie" Something one would hardly expect to see an Escalade.

Then again, it'll carry a whole lot more gear than Carl's sport bike.

I was out on my zx-14 yesterday at a moto shop, when up pulls a dude on his busa.  This sweet ride had shinko tires, mile wide chicken strips, and a chain that had probably never seen any attention.   Oh, but it was stretched and had much added ghetto bling.   As my 10yr old son would have said....  "what a poser".  I can't be sure, but it almost looked like he armor-alled his chicken strips.  They were nice and shiny.

I'm a little late but I bet you guys would like to see "Kuwaiti style pimpin'" of a 'Busa.  Behold:

Yes, those passenger pegs are "pistols":

Those look comfy:

That's fat, yo! :

I assure you, my bud and I looked ultra pimp riding up to this motorcycle event on our BMWs, complete with pipe and slippers.  We didn't quite fit in.   Wink  Of course, we were the only Westerners there, too.

You mean like this:

Here in New Orleans, there are tons of Hayabusas around!  I've never seen so many, and most have chrome and big wheels.

My 03 is stock except for a few minor mods. I stomp every fat tired one when the road twists. All show no twisties for the Escalade crowd. God forbid ya end up w those 1000's of spikes chasing ya down the road like a 600lb mace.
