Average on the EV has been right around 44mpg, pushing 50mpg on longer trips. I have to say mpg is part of why I picked my ride. Fuel efficiency is not a total deal killer, but I really can't see riding a bike that gets worse mileage than a small car. So, two-liter cruisers and tourers are excess for its own sake., IMO. Even the thirstier liter class bikes usually get more mpg than the Hyundai, unless you get on them pretty hard.
