Which of the new bikes has the greatest buzz on STN?  Pick your top 3 favorites of the new 2011 models being made available in the US.  Some are speculative w/o much info yet, such as the VFR800 Adventure bike.

The Ninja 1000 and Tiger 800XC have me quite interested. I really like the looks of the Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200, but would likely never buy one as it's so close to what I'm currently riding.

At this point in its development I doubt that it's the "best" of anything.  But I had to vote for the Brammo.

Craig Bramscher might turn out to be the greatest contributor making electric bikes a reality.  Or perhaps not.  He's got some cojones, though.

A well-thought-out response.   Thumbsup I added the Empulse model to that Brammo vote option, because I like that one slightly more.  These may be the most important 2011 models from a historic perspective.

I voted for the MV triple, the Ninja 1000, and and Tiger 800XC.

MV makes the sexiest bikes on the planet and it's good see them in the mid-sport range.  The Ninja 1000 is just what the doctor ordered for the mid-sized ST genre, and seeing Triumph get back into making a big trailie is a good thing.  

The VFR trailie really intrigs me, but it's way to early to vote for it at this time.

Nice poll!

I voted for the options I would actually consider purchasing:

Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 - this looks fun as hell.  I really want a Hypermotard, so this is in the same vein.  Which one is more fun?  I may have to investigate... Smile

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 - On my list if I buy another sport-tourer.  The only problem I see so far is that rumors say you can't have both side bags and a top case.  Also, how am I going to score a test ride? I've never been to a Japanese dealer that allowed them.

Yamaha FZ8 - seemingly the 'right size,' but it would be hard to replace my Triumph with this over the Aprilia or Ducati

The Kawi 1000 and the Sprint GT are just more modern (but slower) copies of my XX, especially when the XX has been improved with suspension bits.   Inlove

The Triumph Tiger "cub" adds something new to the genre.
