I voted for the CBR250R. It's nice to see another entry into this category and dependant on price I would actually consider buying one for commuting.

I went for the

- Ninja 1000 - good looking, practical sport-tourer that's affordable, too. But what's up with the luggage combination oversight  Headscratch

- Triumph Speed Triple - it combines decent ergos with sportiness and I like the looks better than the 2nd Gen

- Triumph Tiger 800 - same advantages as my Strom 1000 only better, and it lacks the desmo valve train - if it weren't for desmo and high price I'd go for the Multi

The USA will not get any half decent new models, because, my dears, YOU DO NOT DESERVE THEM.

This bike is so dang cool.  But we'll never see it here.   Sad   And if we did, would noobs buy it?  Maybe so, it's head and shoulders above any other starter bike in terms of street cred.

And no, I don't consider a 600cc sport bike a good first bike.  Bigsmile

write in vote for that KTM 125 Duke (although it won't come to the US). Sexy and looks like fun.
