Local (Milw) H-D dealer has got ads on the radio about a 'new, much brighter headlight' (that he's selling because he's soo concerned about his customers safety - that's actually in the ad).
Anyone know what this is? Cost? Could it be adpated to other bikes?
No idea. Intrigued, though. Maybe he's just blowing out Silverstar bulbs...? Maybe he had his own "come to jesus" moment with a deer or something...?
Honestly, I never really felt like the Street Glide needed much in the way of updates. I think the reflector in that is really quite nice, and the stock halogen H4 (or whatever it is) was just fine.
I did replace the wimpy wiring with a 10g trunk and relay on mine and that seemed to add that extra little bit. I had aux driving lamps, and honestly rarely used them.
The sportster was good, but very narrow. I did happy add aux lighting to that.
