Just wondering about general build quality, dealer support, warranty work, and any other issues that come from this relatively small brand.

After a season with my hell on wheels, I mean, the CR250R, I'm thinking about making a switch to something smaller. I like the ease of starting a 2-stroke and the maintenance sounds easier (less expensive) but more frequent than a 4 stroke.  So I'm interested in this:

Just might not have nearly enough pennies saved up to take the plunge. Hard to move away from a bike that is all paid off and I'm just barely comfortable with, to a new bike with so many unknowns.

I'm happy with my 09 TE450 if that helps Bigsmile. The 2 stroke Husky's are as good as any other makers. My closest dealer where I bought my bike is a 4 hour drive away Rolleyes but it came highly recommended. If that's the bike for you then get it Thumbsup

I have a 09  300WR it's a great bike .  A good local dealer I'm happy with it.  I think the new 150 WR would be a good bike my dealer is ordering a demo
I can't wait to try it. Thumbsup

I have a 07 TE450 and love it. Also have a 03 KTM300 EXC which I'm also very happy with. As far as the Husky 2 strokes goes I would consider the 300WR when it's time for another dirt bike.

My SM610 has been perfectly reliable for the past few years.  Took it on a 7000 mile trip and it behaved wonderfully. My nearest dealer is an hour away and there's not a lot of aftermarket support but it's fine the way it is.  Not sure about the newer FI bikes (or since the BMW ownership) but I imagine it couldn't have gotten any worse (not that it's bad, just that BMW is much better the MV-A in the support dept).

I'd get another one  Thumbsup

I had an '07 TE250 and a '09 TE310. Have since sold them, but extremely happy with both of them. When I'm ready for another dirt bike the WR150 is my first choice, bar none.

However, if you're not a tinkerer I'd be careful what you pick. For optimum performance, a WR150 will need the power valve adjusted/altered, and the jetting changed. If you haven't already, start reading posts on cafehusky.com

After having a CR250R, (perimeter frame) you'll be astounded how easy a Husky is to work on.

If money and time were no object, I'd have a WR150 in a minute.

worked a national enduro checkpoint last year in Westpoint Tn. and was suprised to see a few Husky's.I really have not paid attention to them since the 80's.I raced a national enduro this weekend in La. and could not believe how many GasGas I saw but there was also the most Husky's I have seen ever.I really liked the way they sounded and looked solid before I passed them Lol.I have had KTM's since 98 and have decided to try something different the last couple of years because I feel there is a limited time left for 2 strokes and want to try scratch some left over itches.I really like my 07 yz250 it's my main enduro race bike but my harescramble bike is a decked out 06 cr250r.I would keep the cr250r but a pwk carb on it, auto clutch, offset triple clamps and it will turn and handle like a 150 but you have the extra bottom of a 250.That being said I will probably sell the YZ this year and try a Husky 300wr because at 47 I believe I am going to start slowing down on the racing and start just trail riding with buds. The sitting home on computer with broke ankle and broke rib may have something to do with decision.
