Thanks for posting this up.  It's very cool.    Cool

The Tamiya kits are the best.   The detail and precision fit is second to none.   Bigok

And that guy's assembly work is world class.   Hail Hail  I've never seen better by anyone.

I'm working on a Bimota Tesi, and a Suzuki 1100 Katana onto which I'm grafting a modern USD fork with radial brakes, both Tamiya kits.   My finish paint is almost as good as that guy's, and the Brembos on the Tesi came out perfect.  They look just right.  But I'm a white belt next to that guy.  It's both intimidating and inspiring!   EEK!

One thing's for sure, it takes a massive amount of time to put together a model with that level of finish.  But what fun that would be.

I used to build Tamiya 1/12 scale F1 car kits, the Tyrrell 6 wheeler being my proudest. I tried my best to get the most detail out of it. I used to build other types of models using Humbrol and Airfix. It was quite the obsession. At some point girls started talking to me in art class and then I got my first motorcycle.

Model-making was over.

Still, that's impressive display of patience and skill.  Thumbsup

Is the gas tank half empty or half full?

That is amazing.

Though, I've got to say, for the amount of time put into that, a change of scale could have resulted in an ACTUAL Yamaha M1...

Yeah, that is a ton of photo-etched parts!

I have that kit, and have not yet built it.  Suffice it to say, it will look like a milk carton with 2 Oreos for wheel in comparison.
