Just got a call from best friend from college, another friend, Phil Black, is not doing too good and might not last night. So I am headed to Nacogdoches from Houston to say goodbye.
Phil was a Nam vet, good friend and hellacious partier. Because of that lifestyle we always new he would be the first to go.
But you never are ready to let the good ones go. He served his country, his family and his friends. He will be missed.
