Here's some pics from Yesterday on the KLR.  My cell phone took some pretty awful shots this time.  Not sure why.
The trails are getting harder to spot with all the leaves falling.  On the plus side, some trails that were so overgrown in the summer they were tearing the bike apart are now pretty passable.

This part of the woods burned no too long ago.  Couldn't tell during the summer but now that the underbrush has cleared out a bit you can clearly see fire damage.

Found a couple of survey lines out in the middle of nowhere.

Frigging cursor is bouncing around like crazy, making it difficult to actually formulate a thread.  Thankfully, nobody reads anyhing in the dirt lovers forum. Smile

Lastly.

I'm taking a roadracing approach to my off roading.  I figure I am the limiting factor in every situation, not the bike.  If I aquire the skills on an overweight, blad tire dirt bike I can conquer anything.  Are you buying this bullshit?

I had the same thoughts regarding riding the BMW on dirt and then getting on the KLR and exploiting what I'd learned on the bigger bike  Bigsmile

I'll tell you what Ed,  crashing off road feels so much better than crashing on asphalt.

Not to worry. Even after you buy knobbies, you'll still be the limiting factor.  Bigsmile
