Anyone know of a retailer selling replacement pins?  I had a roadside issue this AM and part of my pin disappeared into the abyss that is the shoulder of the road at 5:30 AM.  It would suck monkey butt to have to buy a new shield for what is probably a 50 cent part.

I would shoot an email to Shoei. I just bought one of these visors a couple of weeks ago and it came with extra pins inside the packaging. I'm sure they have some more floating around their office somewhere.

I *think* I might have a single complete pin (enough for one side) in the little junk drawer in my tool box. I'll check when I get home this evening. If so, you're welcome to it.

All I need is one, in fact all I really need is the button part, I found the stem part on the ground in the dark.  If you have that, you sir earned a beer on my account at the next meet.

I might have one too. At least, I did. I'll also check when I get home.

my HJC came with a couple of spares, as did my Nolan - let me know if you need me to dig em up (unlike Chris, I only have a vague idea about their location)

Well, sorry Marc. I thought I had a couple but they weren't where I thought I stashed them.

Good luck. When I scoured the web several years ago, I couldn't come up with a source. I bought a new helmet not too long after that so it was a non-issue. I did find out that they used to sell them in do-it-yourself kits but they stopped selling those in this country years ago. You might turn some up if you search accessory sites in Yurp.

Or maybe we'll get lucky and someone else will figure out where they stashed their spares.

I apologize for posting up so late. I couldn't find the spare(s) I have. They're somewhere... just not where I thought. They're probably in the back of a drawer somewhere.  Crazy

Well thanks anyway guys I do appreciate your checking. I searched everywhere for my spares with no luck and no luck on the web either. I'll just order a new shield today and suck it up.

If it's any consolation, I'm doing the same thing. Today's ride in had me blind most of the way. Shoeis do seem to enjoy fogging up.

Yeah the ride this am was brutal, love my RF1000 for everything else but cold or rain riding. I even purchased some "anti-fog" spray yesterday as a stop gap until I replace the pinlock, what a joke, I think it fogs more!

I gave up on the chemicals. I have a Scorpion here for when it's really bad, but the pinlock (I'm about to order) and the Shoei is my first choice.

Just buy one already ya cheep bastard. I'm waiting on the mailman to bring mine. Can't wait to run with a helmet sealed up and not have any fog!

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I can't believe that Pinlock doesn't sell or provide extra pins. I'm sure it happens often enough that they must get inquiries on a fairly regular basis. Headscratch

Update:  I decided to call Pinlock USA, left a message on their customer service voice mail. They called back about 2 mins. later, took my name and address and they're "gonna send some right out to ya". Thumbsup
