Nope, still 6,000 mile service intervals for the valves.  Don't always need adjusting, but do need checking.


Mine were good at the 600 and the 6000, I am still a little shy of the 12000, but I'll let you know.

Well, the local '07 GS got sold already, so I'm back to the original deal.

Is there a difference in valve service intervals between the 2010 and earlier models?



First check is at 6k, after that they are at 12k.  Adjustment isn't bad either, according to the guys on ADV.

This makes the 09 and older bikes more appealing.  Much more appealing.
Usually going to shims results in longer service intervals.

Even the Duc MS12 is now at 15K miles between checks.
