Yeah, catching up.  Cool

Sorry if the pics are stale.  Most were posted on the prior version of STN or recent threads,

...and a recent pic in the driveway, just after adding the flyscreen, nut covers and a rear hugger.

This thread is kinda quiet, so I thought a bit of humour was in order. How about a Daytona posing as a Speed Triple..??

I'm fashionably late, but with a good excuse. The spring thaw left 6" of water in my garage until
yesterday. While waiting for the river to go down the rear rack got here. Got it put on, but the seat
cowl needs a little dremel work to go on, which I didn't get done. But after playing with the pressure
washer I went for a 2 hour road test.

Anybody have pics with those fugly rear peg hangars removed?

I had a Sprint 955 last year and loved the engine, now thinking about a Speed Triple vs a Buell, so stopped by the dealer to check them out.  Speaking of fugly, how about fender eliminators?  It looks like they are designed to have that monstrosity removed from the rear, is there a standard Triumph part to replace it?

Aw.... thanks Miles!  Thumbsup Thumbsup Unfortunately I won't make it down this year. Again. I'm looking at 2008 as my year to truly return to the moto life. For now I'm bound to contentment with the EX loaner, riding to work, and the occasional day ride on the weekends.

Next year it is, then.  By then you'll have your 1050 S3, and we can trade bikes for a day so I can see what the new one is like, and you can remember how the 955 was...

If any of you knows where one is for sale, I would be a serious contender for a Nuclear Red S3 (yeah, the flourescent pink one) in as close to perfect shape as possible.

Message me if you know of one for sale ....
