Over at the New England Riders Forum I am putting together a "Bucket List" of the very best roads, views, and sights of New England and Eastern New York to visit on your motorcycle.
http://forums.delphiforums.com/NewEnglandRider/messages?msg=17676.1
Eventually I will post this list to the New England Riders website (
http://www.newenglandriders.org/
) for all to enjoy. I'll try to come up with some sort of checklist so that riders can keep track what they have visited. This is meant to be a fun, non-stress way of seeing the best that New England and Eastern New York have to offer.

Hey Ed,
Thanks for the list. Wow, I didn't know such a small state had so many roads I needed to ride before I die.
In case I ever get time away, and I'm up in that neck of the woods I'll have a list to plan my route. Happy Thanksgiving,

New England and Eastern New York is a great area to ride (except in the Winter
) We are within easy striking distance of mountains, ocean, deep forest, and scenic farm land. Let us know if you ever need help with Route Planning.

Thanks for putting that up, Ed. This is great.
When it is all done it should be a lot of fun. I'll make sure that it is finished before the next riding season.

Thanks Ed for sharing and for the googlemaps link (need to visualize it!). I'm sorry to admit that I'm rarely in Connecticut or Rhode Island riding. I'll definitely make a trip in the near future.
Again, thanks!

I do the same. I have a whole bunch of great shorter roads that do not fit on the list. I like to string those kind of roads together.

Thanks for the list/maps, Ed. I've done most of the West ones and a couple of the South ones. You've given me some more good, local rides to add to my repertoire. Too bad the season is all but over.

We've now finished Eastern New York and are working on Massachusetts. Then comes Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. I'll be on the bike scouting roads tomorrow.

An excellent resource, thank you! I've ridden most of the western routes you've added myself, and have enjoyed every minute. One day, I may cross that river...

We are now finishing up with the best Maine Roads. After that it is the best views that you can stop at on your motorcycle. Basically, this will end up being a list of the best roads and the best views in the northeast that can be visited on your motorcycle. The entire list will be posted to the New Enland Riders Forum:
http://forums.delphiforums.com/NewEnglandRider/start
and the New England Riders website:
http://www.newenglandriders.org/
