I would need to fondle the keltec. From the videos I have watched shooting it (bang cycle action, bang, repeat) just looks unnatural.

Same here, I want to handle one in person...most of the videos online are of people who have not trained on the weapon I would think since it's fairly new. Granted you'd think KelTec themselves would put out some great videos of trained people using it. Found this one...guy is ex U.S. Customs so I assume he knows what he's doing.

OK. I bought it.

The Pardner Pump Protector discussed a week or so ago, won.

I played hookey from work yesterday to make a final comparison of this and the comparable Mossberg.

The Mossberg at $279.00 including a pistol grip and the Pardner (New England Firearms) at $200.00 without the pistol grip ($29.00 added) were my final choices.

The Mossberg though made in America and all the glory and honor that goes with it just seemed less well put together than the Chinese Remington 870 knock off.

After running a dozen or so both target loads and buck shot shells through it, I am pleased with it.

First cleaning and inspection showed the only "ify" thing was these braisings.

But they seem quite solid.

For $200.00 (($30.00 less in ANY other state than MA.) This thing is as it says in all reviews I read. "Built like a tank".

Yes 919, I will bring it next time.  Thumbsup

Hey I only paid 60 for a like new 870 Remington with a slug barrel a couple years ago.  About six months ago I pick another 870 with both barrels, a scope and gun case for 150.  That 870 was also like new.

You guys need to find more dumbass that are hard up for money.

No experience with a Beretta Nano, but turns out that a Beretta 3032's grips are straight thermoform plastic, not polymer. Apparently regular plastic degrades significantly when exposed to CLP... new grips are on the way. Not terribly thrilled with THAT.

Learned this weekend why it's best to just keep that good deal to yourself. At the local gun show, I found a rather good deal on a S&W Bodyguard 380. pistol, 4 mags, case and holster for $250 (and I'm sure I could have knocked another 20-40 off with some negotiations).  Basically $75/150 off standard, and what I've been looking for for my wife.

While I was confirming pricing (smartphones are the bomb-diggity...) I ran into my brother and his wife looking for a piece for her. I showed him the .380, and before I could hit the ATM, he bought it out from under me with the caveat that "If she doesn't like it, I'll sell to you for what I paid".

F*cker. If we were still kids I'd beat his ass.
