They were pretty close at first, but that second section got pretty tight for the dirtbike.  Nice vid, thanks.

There was one section where the bicycle had a visible advantage (Over that rock strewn section just past the halfway).  The bike was able to get air while the dirtbike had to tiptoe over it.
I'd say that guy on the bicycle was pretty frigging fast. Bigsmile

The Guy on the bicycle had the advantage of riding that course before too.  Best 2 out of 3?

No amount of wins will ever make you look cool on a bicycle. This is empirical science at work.

Very cool - def some parts the bike had a major advantage.  I get the imporession he made little goof in the bottom 1/2 and lost 5 sec or so.

2 out of 3 and the bike dude has no chance.

Let Knight get some practice (like bike boy has) on that hill and see how it turns out. The bike can only go so fast.

Dirt biker wins because he had no experience of the track. Plus he wins because that course was not meant for a dirt bike. I am a mountain biker and have never rode a dirt bike, but I call it how I see it. Vehicle Wrap

Dirt biker wins because he had no experience of the track, plus he wins anyways because that course was not meant for a dirt bike.

Well, the mountain bike race was back in the summer when it wasn't wet and icy, so track experience is not that big a factor- but course design is the important thing.  The turns are simply too tight and the sections are not optimal for the dirt bike- that's why the mountain biker will win every time.

Lol  I'd like to see a rematch.  Not sure the motorcycle could still win, but it would be fun to see if he could wick it up a little more and get some style points.

This is what I've never got around to getting a dirt bike and prefer to spend my single track days on my mountain bike. That could change when I reach 50 though.  Bigsmile
