According to the show layout I got today it appears that Triumph has a large display for the Cycle World Motorcycle show in Long Beach.
I believe they have been a no-show for the last three years.

Honestly, the show started to suck a bit, when my favorite brand wasn't there, I was never in buying mode, entry was expensive, parking was expensive, drive time was pretty long, and then time away from my girls.

But now with Triumph there and a bunch of new bikes there than I haven't seen or sat on all in one place.... yes please.

Oh crap. Toronto has two motorcycle shows, and I can never remember which one is the good one and which one is the "apparel and assorted choppers" show.

There's a different motorcycle show a week after New Year's.

I skipped Long Beach last year, mostly because I had just bought an '09 FJR.

I'm overdue for a new bike, Triumph will have the new Speed Triple there supposedly... see you guys in Long Beach!

Check the lists on the site for the different venues... last time I looked I believe Long Beech and NYC are the only 2 getting well attended by manufacturers (Triumph, BMW, Guzzi, etc...). Seattle is a bust, not wasting my $ on that.

Up top.  I'm not going to make it to the show.  If Triumph has the new S3 on the floor so you can sit on it, hopefully someone can give us an impression/comparison to the old model.

If the new S3 is only up on a pedestal for viewing... well then I'm glad I didn't go.  Sitting on it was my only reason to attend.

Oh, and if someone finds out when it's supposed to hit US dealers, please let me know.
