Looks like the Tiger 800 & 1050 boards got hacked, by a show off none the less... wtf?

I had a few issues - swapped out the motor myself on a new 955 ST.

I speak from 50K miles of personal experience.

That's funny.

30K absolutely trouble free miles on my 1050, which won Motorrad's 50000km endurance test in 2007. Sorry you got a bad one, I know of quite a few higher mileage 955's out there that have been good, reliable runners.
