He has a plain roller chain on there that was dry, rusty, and loose. Can't cast any dispersions though as I've been there/done that back when I was really broke. I sprayed some Teflon lube on it for him Sat. but I'm sure that was mostly gone by the time he hit Oregon. You need to invest in a good O-ring chain if you're gonna ride in the rain unless you like lubing at every gas stop.
I've been busy catching up on all the stuff that got neglected while I was out riding for a week so no time in front of the screen lately. Hopefully soon I'll have time to post up some pics, and maybe even edit the nearly 30GB of video I shot with the GoPro.
It was a freakin' great trip despite the rain. I blame Mr. Sunshine for that.

There is gas in Spray (regular only) and Monument (regular and premium). Nothing in Long Creek.
Gas in also available in Unity, Austin Junction, Dayville, and Mitchell.
Thanks for the heads up!
Turns out there is gas in Long Creek now. Looks like a new pump.
I was with a couple of guys on Tuonos, and the gas tank on those holds like a cup or something so we were pretty dialed in to every pump.

Just got home at 6:30 from leg 2 of my moto-vacation - the Cal24 and a quick trip to San Onofre. I had some trouble uploading pictures but will try again...

The irony of all of the snow pictures is that the meet was moved later this year for better weather, but then we had the wettest, closest winter and spring in a very long time...
