It's very nice of you to buy your Mom a Moto Guzzi.

Congradultions.  Bought my Norge in May 2010.  Love it.  It has done a very good job of replacing my Buell Ulysses.  I have no regrets and the wind protection is very good to say the least.

I installed Heli Bars and changed the mirrors to Tuono mirrors.  You will really enjoy this ride.  Take off the centre stand if you are planning on doing any serious sport riding or 2 upping.  It only takes about 3 minutes to remove and 3 minutes to put it back on if you need to.

Have a great time and Happy New Year.

Long time riding buddy accepted it with no issues, said it sounds and looks great! Next weekend I hope to see it for the first time with digital camera in hand. I'll put in some stabil, run it a little, and bring the battery home to swap battery tender with my very for sale '04 ST4S-ABS until spring.

Doesn't look like this weekend will work for a road trip either.   18 inches of snow... mid January... 30 years ago- 4 years in Arizona... duh....cabin fever already??...15-1/2 years without a drink... Headscratch .........good thing I don't get speed channel....I feel a high mileage year coming Wink......work...save...work...save... fuel money... trip money... yeah baby... that'll work...

If it makes you feel any better, I'll think of your bike while riding in 75 degree weather this weekend.

Still doesn't make up for me NOT having a Guzzi...

Well, here it is almost a month after my Norge got delivered to Mom's and I'm on my way today to see it for the first time Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup. I am a sooo happy Smile Smile Smile. Bringing a bunch of stuff to putter around, like my GPS, my throttlemeister off my Ducati with the right adapters for the Norge, battery tender, yes- my digital camera, tools for who knows- check suspension settings and whatever else I can think of... razor blade to cut the center stand stop... I'll bring my newly refurbed M/C boots with an extra 3/4" of sole (I'm only 5'4" and people have suggested this for many years) and set the shift lever up right, along with clutch and brake levers. Put the bags on, get her up on the center stand, measure the distance between the rear rack mounts so when my Givi Monokey rack arrives home next week I can figure out if my Ducati trunk will mount up either with the Givi plate or the Ducati plate, wipe up the drool, wipe up the drool I missed the first time, start it and listen to the sweet music for the first time... wipe up the drool again. Should be able to tell if I need to get the low seat (probably will from what I've read- anybody got one they're willing to part with?) Times a wastin.. I'm outta here... no computer at Mom's so updates will be Sunday or Monday hopefully with pics. Bigsmile Bigsmile Bigsmile

Back from my trip to Mom's and after a week I had some help shrinking pics to a size I can finally post here, albeit only one at a time. Didn't get as much done on the Norge as I had hoped, but it is awesome and now put to bed properly for the rest of it's hibernation. Come on spring! So, with any luck, here it is!
