I bought a set of their adjustable pegs when I got the GS and I'm pretty happy with them. However I wanted to raise them back up when I got my Russell seat as it sits higher, the reason I'm pissed is the cheap pot-metal shit they call button head screws that came with the pegs. There's three on each side and almost every one of them rounded out using my allen wrenches, I wound up using a Torx bit on them to get some bite. Why the hell do they choose to sully such a nice and well made piece as their pegs are by using such cheap ass fasteners?
I'll stop by the hardware store tonight and buy some decent allen head screws and nylocks to replace them but for the money they charge they could have used something decent from the start, fucking cheapskates.

Uh, seriously, don't just tell us. Tell Touratech, too. They just might maybe do something to put things right.

Ride up and talk to them. Their US headquarters is south of downtown Seattle on Airport Way. Nice guys and they may set things right.

In the search to shave 1/1000th of a cent off each screw, the Chinese manufaturers are using cheaper materials.
Try to find an good quality "ordinary" screw.
During my last construction job, the number to screws stripped is starting to equal the number of nails I used to bend in the early days.
BTW, Nails are absolute crap nowadays as well.
