This bike has spoked wheels.  Does it need tubes?  Or is it sealed like the old Baehr rims?

Couldn't find any info..

Tubeless. Each spoke sealed with an individual o-ring. Not the cleverest idea/ If I owned on I'd stick a rim band in with silastic or some such.

Thanks fellas

A single o ring on each spoke sounds like a nightmare to track down a leak.
Wonder how it would look with the regular cast black wheels?  I'm kinda tired of spokes after having them on my Harley... A complete pain in the a$$ to clean ( I can't help it, I like clean bikes)

In that case buy the SE and offer to swap the wheels with someone who has the Marchessinnis, (Which are just Brembos with a different sticker on! Lol) you'll have lots of takers. I originally would of prefered wire wheels on mine but after looking at the sealing system I decided I'd stick with alloys. Tracing a leak would be easy enough, just dunk the wheel in a bath, but I can see them being a nightmare after a few years of use. Why they didn't stick with the peripheral spoke rims I've no idea. They are a much happier sollution in my book.

Just like on my St4s.  Marchesini stickers, but Brembo is cast into the wheel!
