Norway is like a forbidden fruit for motorcyclists.
The crazy speed enforcement is enough to make any self respecting, American, speed-trap running municipality blush in embarrassment.
80 km speed limits everywhere, which is like 55 mph with cops lurking in the bushes.
And the prices are exhorbitant. I bought a sandwich, a Snickers bar and a Coke. Afterwards, I did the currency conversion in my head and it came out to like $28
A nice place to visit...once
A more friendly motorcycling enviroment...Mont St. Michel, Normandy, France

Here's a couple...
On the shoulder on the Ballabio - Resinelli road. On the rented Agostini Stelvio...
Somewhere in the Chianti region. Just a gorgeous road that cut through vineyards and olive trees.
Lots of Guzzi's on the side of the road in front of the Guzzi factory during the protest rally to block the moving of Guzzi...
Tractor sale anyone?
The wife and I out for a nice Fall Sunday ride through western Massachusetts.
Out in Connecticut at the Hearst Castle. Wife on the Ballabio, me on the '70 Ambassador
Posed at a landing on the Connecticut River.
The Ballabio in its' home town of Salem, MA

I thought it might have been on the VA side of the border in George Washington Nat'l.... We do that route quite a bit.
Here's one of my favorite all time motorcycle pics (from that area). Right up the road on 39.

Good thing I have a couple of GUZZI's to ride down the mountain and find some flat straight roads to ride.

ADD might be better than Hoarders disease, or not.
As soon as I have more money, I think I may start showing signs of Hoarder's disease.
I've already decided that I'd like at least one more Eldorado, plus maybe a V1000 G5 or more recent 1200 Sport. And I still need to replace my sport touring rig with some kind of Triumph triple.

Time to 'fess up Dan, Pete, and Orson. All three of you have
got
to be working for the Guzzi PR dept.
Nah. We are simply old and ugly enough to recognise that riding a race bike with lights doesn't translate particularly well to 'Road' riding and Guzzi make some of the best 'Road' bikes in the world and have been doing so for, with the twins, over forty years. I for one do not have a slavish, dedication to the marque. If they start producing shitters? I'll dump 'em! In thirty years though I've yet to ride a *real* shitter. Although the Nevada skirts around the edge of the septic tank!
I currently run 'On the Road' rather than historically plated a Guzzi 1200 Griso and an Aprilia Mana. Two more different bikes you couldn't want to come across! The fact is though they are both 'Fit For Purpose', and that is what its all about. Guzzi make SUPERB ROAD BIKES. Of course we'll spruik them! Why wouldn't we? They really are 'That Good'!!!!

Mt St Helens.
Glacier National Park.
Er, I forget, but it's the lake at the base of Glacier National Park on the Montana side.
Looking back at the park.
Alberta, I think it's the 40.
The 1 in Northern CA. "Warning, Windy Road for 99 Miles"
The Pacific Coast is amazing.
No, no, really.
Crater Lake is beyond that snow bank. It was a "bit chilly" that day.
Georgia Straight, Vancouver, Canada. Looks isolated but the city is directly behind and to the right.
Some great memories.

Yesterday, early afternoon on the panoramic road over Porto Ercole ( next to Orbetello Lagoon, Tuscany).
Up, up and away
Yes, on the right side just the sea and the sky...
Another stretch toward the summit...
This was the road I travelled almost every Sunday with my first Guzzi... the V65C...

Taken this weekend in New Jersey on the PA border. Beautiful roads ( if not laden with freakin' deer). Senor Stelvio with the missus' new Griso SE.
