And what's wrong with 60??  Distinguished or more?  Lol

No one said he was 60,  just that looking like that at 60 wouldn't be too bad ....  i may be in error though.

Safe at home.  I last saw Rob707 in the middle of Utah still heading south for the 4-corners and some awesome canyon carving on his way.   Cool

Hey suckers, I'm still on my way getting to my daughter's house in Ca = so far, so good in a roundabout way. I think it is Sunday and should be back at Chere's in Los Gatos on Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. As the crow flies its about 500 miles = I'll make it be 1500 miles of zigzagging south through Northern Ca best roads.

You can do this sort of thing when retired and well past the distinguished '60'.

By Grants Pass. Oregon, 6,000 miles and 20 days, Gary was understandably missing Demenshea, so we parted company and she beelined it home to Sac today via I-5 and some twisty bits.

Donna and I got sort of lost on Oregon's mountain roads and ended up on some obscure washed out trail roads = 200% harder than Utah's Burr Trail road that Donna didn't want to tackle on her own. No problem now, trust me... After coming down Champion Creek Road, the Burr is a piece of piss.

Bubba, the 950SM is purring, carving and often roaring...

Again, thanks to Jim, Dave, Liz, Karina, Geoff, Arija and everyone who came for a fantastic weekend of riding hospitality. Arija, I hope SA is a great experience!

Note

hahahaha...well, made it over the Champion Creek but not without incident.  Had a S L O W speed drop onto some of the meanest rock I have ever traveled.  We are talking a near single track TRAIL...made the road to the lake look like some well honed pavement.  Oh well, the bike is fine, I'm sportin' a few bruises, but my head is feeling pretty damned big at having ridden it at all!  Note got me sorted out after we picked up that mother of a bike and discovered the damage fairly minimal.  It's all about the ride, eh?

Made it home safely after riding into the pits of hades down I5 at 106 degrees.  Jeesus, i was ready to move to Castlegar just for some fresh clean air.  I garnished just under 6K on this adventure and adventure it was!

Thanks again, Jim and family, Dave and family and Geoff for all your hard work to make this happen.  I imagine I'll see u next year for another go, but I will definitely be skipping Champion Creek.  EEK!
cheers m'friends.  I'll post some more photos when i get them sorted.

oh ya, and 60 is a marvelous age, especially as it grows more near!
