There is a guy over at ADV rider selling a few custom, heavy duty skid plates and a plate that reinforces the kick stand mount for both for $250.00 for 950/990's.

Just picked one up for myself and thought I would share. No affiliation ...  Looks extremely well made.  Thumbsup

Only about a dozen available.

And with that purchase, I have pretty much farkled out the 950.  Only thing I need is a set of bar risers.

That's a very well made piece.  I don't have much a need right now for anything more robust than the stock aluminum piece.  Besides, I'm broke after my upgraded wheel purchase.   Lol
