I stumbled across this on the web and thought I'd share the link.

http://www.doubletakemirror.com/

The product says it's virtually indestructible as it's made from reinforced Zytel.

Those look very interesting and infinitely adjustable too.  I guess the added benefit of having those RAM balls and arms is that you could have a camera mount as well when offroad.

They'll have to be put to the scottzilla test before I buy.

I've seem those and they're really nice. Infinite adjustability is infinite out-of-the-way-ability when you dont need it.

You are correct.  I have no excuse for forgetting as I didn't bump my head on my last crash.

These look pretty interesting. I recently got rid of the stock multi mirrors and have been struggling to find an aftermarket solution with good visibility as well as with left hand thread.

These are a bi ugly but I guess I have no leg to stand on since I am talking about the multi Lol

I have a pair of these fitted to my 640 adventure.  I am reasonably happy with them except that regardless how tight I do up the clamp they move around on corrugated roads or if I hit a large bump. Still trying to work out how to stop it from happening, while still being able to move them out of the way etc when in the snotty stuff.
