OK, most of the CARC bikes use the same primary ratios I believe. The Griso 1100 uses a lower primary and the 8V models all bets are off. Can't remember. My G8 3,600 RPM at 100KPH.

I have an '08 1200 Sport and ride it like it's a "road" bike, not a "sport/racer". I mostly commute on it (a lot of superslab as that's the only way to get anywhere where I live) and take occasional two lane trips to the hills for twisties. When on the slab I generally run 80 indicated in 6th which is a little over 4K RPM. On the two lanes 60 to 65 in 5th at about the same 4K RPM. In town I find myself usually shifting at 4500 to 5000 RPM and maintaining at an easy 4K RPM pace. (all the above is not counting the times I am having fun between 5K and 7K and risking points on my License

)
My question is, am I riding it correctly to get good longevity , or should I be wicking it up a bit as I have heard many say to "remember to rev it"? Appreciate your sharing of your expertice with us new to the brand guy's. Thanks much!
